As an Integration Developer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting sales processes and implementing products for new partners and customers. You want to bring your own ideas into optimizing integrations, APIs and workflows.

Responsibilities:

As an Integration Developer at Skytech Control, you will be responsible for:

  • Administrate, orchestrating, and maintain robust integrations between Skytech Control’s internal systems and our standard APIs with external third-party platforms, utilizing SQL knowledge, REST and SOAP APIs or other strategic data exchange methods.
  • Ensuring the ongoing health, support, and rapid resolution of challenges related to existing products, integrations, applications, and processes is close collaboration with Sales, IT-Operations, Product and Operations teams.
  • Providing data and information security experience and expertise.
  • Spearheading integration projects in collaboration with partners and customers, ensuring seamless cooperation, mutual growth, and successful project outcomes with colleagues in Sales, Product, Operations and Tech.
  • Lead and manage integration projects from initiation to completion, including defining project scope, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to conceptualize and visualize optimal data flow and process charts, ensuring the clarity and effectiveness of international integration solutions.
  • Crafting comprehensive API documentation using tools like Swagger, fostering transparency, and simplifying the management of integration interfaces. Regularly update and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, solutions, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Implement Data Quality Assurance measures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data exchanged between systems, proactively addressing any discrepancies.
  • Implement effective change management practices when modifying or enhancing integration processes to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth transitions
  • Provide training and support to end-users, both internal and external, to ensure they can effectively use the integrated systems and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Tapping into your robust analytical skills to swiftly diagnose and address integration-related issues.
  • Collaborate with other internal TECH teams to plan for the scalability of integration solutions, ensuring they can handle increasing data loads without compromising performance.
  • Working with 2nd and 3rd line technical integrations issues and support when required.
  • Ensure that integration solutions adhere to relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal data governance policies.
  • Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in integration design and implementation.
  • Play an active role in all software and product development in the company cross department and teams.

 

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with, designing, and implementing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with real-time data synchronization between systems and message queue systems for asynchronous communication.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for deployment.
  • Knowledge of .NET development using c# and other relevant coding techniques
  • Knowledge of workflows development using durable execution engines for complex, long-running processes, and low-code integration platform (e.g. Temporal or similar)
  • Learning in relational databases, including MySQL, and ability in SQL language.
  • Solid understanding of security protocols and practices in integration design and implementation.
  • Experience leading integration projects, ensuring effective coordination and successful outcomes – both national and international.
  • Demonstrated ability to dissect and resolve intricate integration challenges.
  • Previous involvement in orchestrating data flow and refining process charts.
  • Hands-on experience with API documentation tools like Swagger, ensuring transparent communication.
  • Proven analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve integration-related challenges.
  • Proactive attitude towards identifying optimization opportunities and driving improvements.
  • Natural appetite for proactive optimization, consistently seeking avenues to elevate system efficiency and performance.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities, tackling complex challenges with efficiency and creativity.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating seamless collaboration and fostering strong team dynamics.
  • Fluent proficiency in both Norwegian and English, both written and verbal, ensuring effective communication across stakeholders.

 

The role of Integration Developer covers a broad area of technical integration and development, allthough it is not expected that you are proficient in all the abilities listed above, we hope you can check of on as many as possible, training and mentoring will be provided where neccessary.
